Synopsis

SULAM is a simple and humble man who makes his living selling chicken rice    porridge. He is married to RODIAH and shared their house with EMAK. Like the million others of his countrymen living just above the line of poverty, Sulam has to survive on the daily basis, a chicken rice porridge seller does not make much money after all. Going to a pilgrimage trip to Mecca is far from Sulam’s dream. So when he finally saved enough money for the trip, he thought it was all a  dream.Everyone, from his family to his customers and  neighbors seem happy that one of their own is finally able to bear the privileged title of a Hajj. But not his rich neighbors  MUHIDIN and MAEMUNAH, who are now no longer the only Hajj in the village.
